Our client isa global leader in consumer products manufacturing.Job Objectives Overseeing electrical & mechanical online maintenance of HCM, utilities, and mucilage preparation equipment to deliver desired efficiency and up-time.Monitoring cost control initiatives for daily and regular consumables, spares, and energy to achieve engineering budget concerning energy, stores & spares (engineering), and R & M.Monitoring implementation of various in-plant projects from concept to closure, initiated by strategy management, to meet the user requirements. ResponsibilitiesStrategic Reviewing and maintaining downtime within target, adherence to R & M, Stores Spares budget, ECR, and maintaining them within target.Reviewing and maintaining maintenance, calibration, and resources. Achieve reduction in downtime on account of Engineering. Ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery wrt utilities, HCM, and mucilage preparation area as per plan.Monitoring online maintenance-related activities (in coordination with other departments) and engineering maintenance lead to ensure smooth functioning of utilities, HCM and mucilage preparation area, ATS, printing, and camera systems for seamless operation.Ensuring adherence to processes and systems and support to surpass budgeted AFOEReviewing online maintenance of electrical & mechanical breakdowns are rectified and documentedReviewing process parameters and ensuring implementation of corrective actions for utilities and HCMs regularly.Reviewing root cause analysis for repeated failure and effectiveness of CAPAReviewing availability of critical spares in ready-to-use condition to maintain plant up-timeReviewing and ensuring implementation of the line of actions as per the mitigation plan designed by the team members.Ensuring the development of alternate vendors & conduct risk assessments to mitigate risk and adhere to compliance.Ensuring the upgradation of the automation system for process synchronization/optimizationEnsuring adherence to safety guidelines, c-GMP, regulatory & statutory compliances, TPM, and other applicable norms. Plan & execute capacity expansion and other improvement projects in the facility. Reviewing, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to project tracker/planner for various improvement projects as per budget and schedule.Designing systems in collaboration with external & internal SMEs, stakeholders, and consultants, wherever required. Supporting other user functions in the execution of cross-functional projects Ensuring improvement and sustaining productivity – Ensure control of downtime of HCM as per the target and achieve the desired quality output to meet the budget. Monitoring execution of size change/ pin bar change activities within the specified time frame to meet the manufacturing requirements. Reviewing and monitoring the execution of innovative projects in various fields based on advanced technologies for synchronization of process/utility by automation, productivity increase, and energy conservation. Reviewing and ensuring verification & calibration as and when required and maintaining records.Ensuring validation (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) of all engineering equipment and process. Monitoring trails of equipment/machines installed and evaluating the performance as per the URS. Civil Projects Reviewing and finalizing the detailed specifications for the Users Requirements Specifications (URS)Reviewing analysis of URS and ensuring finalization of order as per timelines. Ensuring adherence to the quality standards and delivery norms as per the project plan. Reviewing and monitoring the execution of the project as per the approved plan. Reviewing project schedule and activity–wise tracker to meet the deadlines. Ensuring seamless functioning of ETP by legal and statutory norms Cost Optimization Reviewing and monitoring the implementation of various energy-saving projects to achieve budgeted ECR. Reviewing and monitoring executing energy cost reduction activities to achieve budgeted store spares, R&M, and energy costs. Ensuring cost optimization in improvement projects with vendor development. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering.Minimum of 10-15 years experience in a maintenance field with at least 8 years as a Maintenance Department Head.More than 5 years of experience in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, and Packaging is a plus.Experience in transformation projects – highly preferred.Experience in PM/TPM implementation - highly preferred. Knowledge of SAP, mechanical, electrical, PLC, PM, and energy saving.Computer literacy and fluency in English.Strong inter-team coordination, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong team player, with strong cross-cultural management skills.
