The Opportunity As the Head of Engineering in Enterprise at MYOB, you will lead teams of teams to achieve outstanding results for one of our key growth areas of MYOB. The successful candidate will join MYOB as a critical enabler in realizing and driving the Enterprise strategy, evolving our technology landscape and practices to drive a transformation towards a product-led organization. As part of MYOB's Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal part in leading and crafting the Enterprise business product by creating and empowering agile teams and owning the technology direction for the product. You will be responsible for implementing modern architecture and engineering practices that deliver outstanding value to our Enterprise customers, aligning with business objectives to deliver a high-performing and scalable SaaS solution. What you will bring - Extensive experience in creating and leading high-performing teams responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and operating CRM/ERP platforms and cloud-hosted products and services. - Your historical background as an engineer or architect will be critical in leading this team of Engineering Managers and Principal engineers and working with a peer group of product and design teams to lead this key growth platform. - Extensive experience leading AWS cloud capabilities and implementing cloud-based solutions. - Experience in running or driving support functions for customer-facing products - Direct experience with establishing a mature agile way of working and engineering culture in newly established teams; - Ability to influence, and build trusting and significant relationships with peers, team members, executive partners and suppliers; - Experience working in complex system architectures, designing scalable and robust systems, for both web and client technology; - Proven history of implementing major technology initiatives. Effective enterprise coaching skills, understanding what teams need for high engagement and high performance to deliver customer outcomes. - Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching/mentoring, critical thinking, facilitation, change leadership, and team development with a focus on adopting our values; - Ability to attract and retain talent and to inspire the team Our Culture & Benefits Our values have stood the test of time.
