Further expansion and global demand for their market leading renewable energy solutions has seen unprecedented global growth and the requirement to recruit a high-profile Head of European BESS. The RoleAs the Head of European Battery Energy Storage Solutions you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company's battery energy storage solutions strategy in Europe. This role involves a coordination with the different internal group stakeholders from business development and commercial to answering to invitation to tender (ITT), process product design, and implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong technical background in battery energy storage solutions and experience in leading teams.The candidate will be working in close coordination with the CTO based in UK and the BESS international solution team and will have a functional report to the CTO, and an operational report to the Managing Director / Head of France. Wider duties and responsibilities include:· Develop and implement the company's battery energy storage solutions strategy in Europe· Support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities and partnerships in the region· Alternatively conduct market research to determine customer needs and preferences· Lead the product design and development process in coordination with the CTO, ensuring that the company's products meet market demand and customer expectations· Build and manage a team of battery energy storage solution experts in the objective to quickly provide a competitive commercial offer to customer· Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product manufacturing and operations to ensure successful execution of the company's strategy· Oversee the implementation of the company's battery energy storage solutions in Europe· Ensure that the company's solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards· Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies· Provide technical support and guidance to customers as required· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and developments The Person· Minimum Master's degree in Engineering or related field· A MBA or equivalent in Commercial and Finance would be a plus· At least 10 years of experience in battery energy storage solutions, with a strong technical background· Experience in leading teams and managing projects· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills· Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the energy storage industry· Proven ability to develop and implement successful business strategies· Fluent in English, with proficiency in other European languages a plus If you are passionate about the energy storage industry and looking for a broad and challenging role with prospects to match (including senior leadership and Directorship roles), make your application without delay.
