Job Description

Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturer that operates in the fast-moving consumer market with the appointment of a Head of Operations.

This is an excellent opportunity, reporting into the Group Manufacturing Director you will be responsible for all aspects of operational performance and improvement of the site.

This Head of Operations duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with group goals and objectives
• Lead and manage a team of operations professionals including department managers and staff to ensure sufficient and effective operations
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in process and operations to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and enhance quality
• Ensure resources are managed; including personnel; headcount and equipment to meet operational needs
• Promote a safety-first environment across the site; ensuring all follow the required health and safety practices and compliance standards
• Review and develop KPIs to track and report on operational performance for group
• Regularly review data against budget and deliverables set out by group

Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are keen to speak with people that have the following skills and experience:

• You will be educated to Degree level in either Operations / Business Management, Masters is highly desired
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior operations management role with a proving track record of operational excellence
• Background working within fast paced manufacturing environments, world class manufacturing highly desired
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results
• You will be able to think strategically, be analytical in your approach with an ability to problem solve and develop effective solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role to effectively communicate with team members, senior management and external stakeholders
