The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pre-construction within the design and build sector, ensuring seamless project planning, cost control, and risk management.

This is a key leadership role requiring excellent commercial awareness, strategic planning, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOversee and manage all pre-construction activities, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to delivery.\n\nLead feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimise project success.\n\nDevelop and manage the pre-construction programme, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.\n\nWork closely with the design and estimating teams to ensure accurate cost planning and project viability.\n\nCollaborate with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.\n\nProvide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team, ensuring continuous professional development.\n\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements, planning approvals, and industry best practices.\n\nAssist in bid management and tender preparation, ensuring competitive and viable submissions.\n\nIdentify and mitigate potential risks during the pre-construction phase.\n\nMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, construction methods, and cost benchmarks.\n\nKey Skills & Experience:\n\nExtensive experience in a pre-construction leadership role within the design and build sector.\n\nStrong understanding of the full construction lifecycle, from concept through to completion.\n\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExcellent commercial awareness and strategic planning skills.\n\nStrong leadership and team management abilities.\n\nExceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.\n\nProficiency in project management software and construction planning tools.\n\nQualifications:\n\nDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field ().\n\nProfessional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB, ICE) is advantageous.\n\nCSCS card and relevant health & safety qualifications (desirable).\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOpportunity to work on high-profile design and build projects.\n\nA dynamic and supportive working environment.\n\nCareer progression and continuous development opportunities.\n\nIf you are a results-driven leader with a passion for excellence in pre-construction, we would love to hear from you
