Head Robotics and Welding Operations (m/w/d)

In this role, the primary responsibility is managing. monitoring and mentoring workers who are working in welding production on how to make optimization in their work (while working with robotics FANUC machines as well as hands-on production). This position offers exciting prospects for someone looking to develop in the long term, with an interest in combining robotics, production optimization, and people managing. This position will work closely with Head of Production.   To strengthen the existing team, LHH is looking for a motivated, responsible, and technically skilled candidate to start immediately or by arrangement as: Head Competence Center focused on Automation and Welding Optimization (m/w/d) full-time Your profile: Education background in Automation / Robotics /Industrial Engineering or similar Previous work experience in the same or similar position Previous work experience in industrial manufacturing field focused on work optimization of (welding) activities related to the usage of FANUC machines and overall improvement of work productivity Knowledge in welding technology and welding automation processes (would be a great plus) Experience in managing personnel in a technical production environment (ideally within a robotics or automation field) Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring reliability and efficiency in robotic manufacturing systems Technical problem-solving ability, with strong attention to quality assurance Fluent in German and basic English  Your Responsibilities: Leading technical staff and technical operations, overseeing a two-shift production environment Optimizing efficiency of usage of the robotic systems, ensuring peak production performance Ensuring efficient operation of robotic automation systems, continuously improving welding production workflows and minimizing downtime Planning and coordinating daily production activities to meet project deadlines and output targets Collaborating with the IT and engineering teams on the integration and support of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) projects to improve production transparency and data analytics Leading the introduction of new robotic technologies and products, including the commissioning and testing of new automated systems Maintaining strict standards for cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure high availability and performance Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety and quality within the department Additional duties include procuring consumables and auxiliary materials Are you looking for a new challenge?
