Health and Safety Advisor

Principal people are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a specialist Electrical and Substation organisation who have a varied and diverse portfolio of projects.



The organisation have a variety of clients and have a number of upcoming and large scale projects.



This newly created position represents an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to progress their Health and Safety career further within a supportive and ambitious business.



Alternatively, if you have experience within the Electrical or Substations sector and are looking to develop into the Health and Safety field, the organisation offer extensive in house training and development plans to support with this transition.



With projects located across London and the Home counties, this autonomous and self-managed position will visit sites frequently as well as local offices and be able to work from home.



The key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor:



Provide Health and Safety guidance and support across multiple sites.

Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.

 Regular meetings with clients and internal stakeholders

Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid similar incidents repeating.

 Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.

Engage and work closely with all areas of the organisation The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:



NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent.

Experience working within Electrical, Substation, HV or similar.

Open to all levels of experience. Remuneration and benefits:



A basic salary of £60,000 - £65,000

Company car (Hybrid options) or Car allowance

28 days plus Bank holiday.

Pension Scheme.

Plus additional benefits. The client is looking to commence interviews over the next few weeks.
