The Client:
We are working with a successful manufacturing business in Wolverhampton who are at an exciting point in their organisational journey. They have a new, exciting opening for Health and Safety Coordinator to join them and play a key role in driving and executing the Health and Safety strategy across the business.
As the Health & Safety Coordinator you will be getting involved in:
* Supporting the operational site teams in the promotion and delivery of health and safety strategies and culture
* Working closely with operational teams ensuring any potential risks and hazards are identified and addressed
* Support with the implementation of standards throughout all sites
* Utilising your expertise to guide, advise and drive safe working practices
* Maintaining the Health & Safety Management systems and ensuring any additions / amendments are actioned
* Supporting in the construction and delivery of any Health and Safety training
* Carrying out internal audits
* Effectively managing the accident and near miss reporting and investigations process
To be successful in this role you will need:
* NEBOSH Level 3 qualification will be essential
* Previous experience in a senior H&S position such as Health & Safety Coordinator / Health & Safety Officer / Health & Safety Advisor
* Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
* Full UK Driving Licence will be essential
