Health and Safety Manager

Our client is a carpentry subcontractor known for delivering high-quality carpentry on projects with Tier 1 Main Contractors. They specialize in both residential and commercial projects.



They're seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and procedures across all of their projects.



Responsibilities:



* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.



* Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.



* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards.



* Provide training and support to employees on health and safety practices and procedures.



* Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.



* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on health and safety performance.



* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.



* Promote a culture of safety within the company.



Qualifications:



* Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in Construction



* In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.



* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to health and safety management.



In return, our client is offering £65k - £75k + package
