Salary: £55,000-£70,000 per year

About the Company:
This Company is a hands-on, third- Irish Main Contractor who has been well established within the UK market for the past 5 + Years. This client has a history of construction dating back over 90 years to the 1920s and has achieved notable success and experience across a wide range of key construction sectors.
They are well renowned in Ireland and quickly becoming established in the UK Market with offices in Liverpool, Birmingham, and London. They undertake projects within a variety of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Residential and Sport & Leisure.
About the Role:
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to be based in their Birmingham office for a large up-and-coming residential project.
Your duties as the HSEQ Manager shall include:
* Be a Champion for Procore, promote all core tools on Procore with the Site Teams.
* Carry out all Audits on Procore.
* Advise site management on Health & Safety (Rules & Regulations)
* Conduct Safety Audits on Group sites as deemed necessary by the company, generally two per month depending on the site performance this could increase.
* Review sub-contractor RAMS & carry out RAMS as required.
* Up-date UK Safety Policies as required.
* Up-date all procedures/documentation regarding COVID-19 and communicate with Staff and sub-contractors. Ensure Sites/Offices have the relevant signage and equipment as required.
* Review subcontractor safety documentation.
* Monitor all health and safety activities on the project and report the findings to the Site Team, UK HSEQ Manager and Directors via Procore.
* Identify, reduce and maintain register of relevant legislative, regulatory and other policy requirements acceptable to the company.
* To assist the Site Teams with the maintenance of the safety management system
* Take the Lead on Considerate Constructor Initiatives and Audits.
* Assist and coordinate all Considerate Constructor activities, including registration of Projects.
* Coordinate Certification to CHAS, Safe Contractor, British Safety Council, Constructionline and any relevant registered bodies..
* Prepare a quarterly HS&E dashboard statistics across the region for directors meeting.
* Procore and reported to the Directors and HSEQ Manager.
* Create a culture of New Miss Reporting on Procore.
* Compile a monthly safety report to record all safety activities on site and copy to Directors and the Group HSEQ Manager.
* Develop and advise on safe systems at work.
* Ensure company permit to work systems are followed up.
* Complete all QHSEQ Tenders activities as directed by UK Directors & Senior Management.
* Review and update company safety documentation as requested by the Group HSEQ Manager, in particular site specific construction plans and policies.
* Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate from time to time by the Group HSEQ Directors and Senior Managers.
* Such other duties as may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.
ISO Requirements:
* Champion the ISO Standards across the Projects.
* Take the Lead for all ISO Internal and External Audits in the UK region.
* Close out all issues raised during the Internal and External Audits in the region on Procore.
* Comply with ISO HSEQ Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your department process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
* Ensure that the needs and requirements of internal departments and customers are understood and delivered.
