Health and Safety Manager - Energy Infrastructure Project
​Position: Health and Safety Manager, Green Energy ProjectBased in Oslo with appropriate travel to site.About the Role:Reporting directly to the Project Director, this role is responsible for the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety systems and processes throughout the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of a Major Hazard Facility.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a scalable Health and Safety Management System for all project phases and the entire operational lifecycle.Align project health and safety activities with Fortescue's health and safety systems.Plan and ensure completion of necessary health and safety training and onboarding.Communicate health and safety messages effectively to the project team.Maintain and report health and safety statistics for the project.Review and ensure specialized contractors' health and safety documentation complies with legal requirements.Conduct audits and ensure compliance with health and safety practices, including those of specialized contractors.Lead investigations and reviews as necessary.Collaborate with the project team to manage contractors on-site, ensuring health and safety strategies meet regulatory expectations.Promote a consistent approach to health and safety management processes across the project and with associated contractors.Participate in assessments and reviews of contractor management as needed.Qualifications and Skills Required:Prior experience in a health and safety role within construction.At least 10 years of health and safety experience.Experience managing health and safety at a Major Hazard Facility.Experience with all project lifecycle phases and the entire value chain.
