This is an evolving role for a hard-working person to assist the management team with all health, safety & environmental compliance.We are seeking a motivated applicant who preferably has good technical strengths. We are a workplace committed to training and will provide support and further training to the successful applicant. Duties will include;• Maintain and champion Intermediate H&S qualification• Investigations in the workplace• Training and Development• Implementation of new procedures or policies• Compliance• Identifying problem/barriers• Reporting with excellent written and communication skills• Effectively induct new workers, vessels crew, and sub-contractors to the shipyard• Conduct internal Audits To be successful you will have;• Strong Health & Safety background, ideally from Civil or Contraction Industry• Strong interpersonal and listening skills• Well-developed research and presentation skills• Understanding of NZ HSE laws• Efficient use of MS Office Suite Years of Experience: 2 Location: Mt Roskill Work Hours: 40 Job Qualifications Job Requirements Compensation
