Drake International is recruiting an experienced HSE Advisor for an exciting opportunity with a leading industrial services provider in Alberta.What We Offer:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package, including Dental care, Disability insurance Employee assistance program, Extended health care Life, insurance Vision careCareer growth opportunitiesA strong commitment to workplace safety and professional developmentWhat You’ll Do:Develop, implement, and maintain a strong safety culture across all operational areasConduct regular site inspections, audits, and field visits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and identify potential hazardsCollaborate with management to establish and enforce safety policies and best practicesProvide training, coaching, and onboarding for employees to enhance HSE awareness and complianceInvestigate incidents and near-misses, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actionsStay updated on industry regulations and safety standards to ensure ongoing complianceAssist in developing solutions for unique field safety challenges as they ariseMaintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and records using HSE management systemsEnsure compliance with pre-employment and site-access drug and alcohol testing requirementsWhat We’re Looking For:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an HSE role within an industrial or construction environmentTraining in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) is preferredStrong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry standardsExperience in developing and delivering safety training and onboarding programsCertified NCSO designation is an assetCSTS or PCST certification is an assetStandard First Aid certification is requiredValid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean 3-year Driver’s AbstractStrong analytical skills for conducting audits and incident investigationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to train and engage employees at all levelsProficiency in using HSE management software is an assetOur team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
