Job Summary:
The HSE Manager oversees company-wide health and would be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing company wide, health, safety and environmental processes to ensure all company objectives are met and that the company complies with applicable safe, health, and environmental regulations in the areas they do business. This position will perform tasks and duties personally, through subordinate staff and through influencing others. In addition, responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining a companywide HSE Management System to implement processes and procedures to improve our customer value and reduce operating cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage HSE business plans and budgets.
- Ensure the effectiveness of HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and investigations.
- Implement and monitor safety KPIs.
- Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations.
- Oversee incident investigations and reports.
- Coordinate safety training programs.
Work Environment:
Primarily desk-based, with weekly field visits in industrial environments (e.g., drilling rigs, production sites).
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HSE or related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of HSE experience, with 5 years managing a team.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT safety, and risk management.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) .
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis.
- Water well experience
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.).
