Sustainable Futures Group (SFG) is excited to be partnering with a leading and well-established Housing provider in Liverpool who are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team and help shape the future of HSE across their Construction and Refurbishment arm with sites across the North West of England.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of HSE while coaching and mentoring your own high performing team within an organisation which is truly committed to HSE excellence right throughout the organisation from the board down.
The HSE Manager will be responsible for:
* Leading the management of HSE systems to maintain high Safety and Environmental standards across all sites
* Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations in Construction new build and refurbishment environments
* Maintaining ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 standards
* Engaging with on-site teams and attending Safety committee meetings
* Implementing risk assessments and Safety strategies tailored to each unique site
* Driving continuous improvement in Safety practices across the multiple sites
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Chartered IOSH Membership or CertIOSH (Wanting to work towards Chartered IOSH)
* NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety) or equivalent such as NVQ level 6
* A background in the Construction/Refurbishment sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific Safety challenges
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing HSE professionals and systems
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders

* A competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000, plus an attractive benefits package
