Health & Safety Associate

Our client is a global leader in the renewable energy industry. They are seeking a Health & Safety Associate to manage the implementation of the group's Health & Safety policies in Germany. Your Main Responsibilities: Evaluate the locations'/offices' compliance with regulations and suggest corrective measures. Conduct risk analyses on our staff members. Look at occurrences (accidents, near misses, danger reports) and create a plan for preventive measures. Conduct H&S site inspections at various sites. Complete and submit regular safety reports. Use and contribute to the development of programmes and tools that assist with H&S operations. Monitor the H&S performance of the contractor. Verify the contractor paperwork procedure. Assist other departments with technical support during all project phases (development, construction, and operation). Assist the HR departments with their health and safety trainings. Assure the Management System (ISO 45001) is implemented and suggest enhancements. Take part in the management review, HSE commissions, monthly corporate H&S meetings, and other H&S governance processes. Assure that there is coordination between construction sites and the H&S supervisors. Your Requirements and Qualifications: Education in safety and health management, or a related field. 4-6 years in related disciplines. Understanding of PV plants is essential. It's advantageous to have experience in wind farms. Risks include working at heights and electricity. Extensive knowledge of Law in Germany. Experience working with H&S Management System and ISO 45001. Experience working on Building sites. Willingness to travel abroad. Proficiency in both German and English is essential. Strong persuasive and communication abilities. A fascination with technological details. Effective management of contractors. Adaptable and committed to ongoing development.
