We’re looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and shape safety strategy across complex projects and environments for a client based in Milton Keynes. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance, drive best practices, and support teams in delivering safe and effective solutions—both in the UK and internationally.
Key Duties:

- Manage corporate and group-specific health and safety activities, providing expert guidance to all involved both internally and externally.
- Develop and implement Health & Safety policies, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Conduct audits and inspections to monitor compliance and drive improvements.
- Oversee health and safety in projects and bids, impacting overall performance.
- Apply professional expertise to ensure safe risk control in international projects and operations.
- Provide independent advice to senior management and teams on safety compliance and loss prevention.
- Lead H&S initiatives across the companies’ services facilities and corporate functions.
- Ensure CDM 2015 compliance in design and construction phases of projects.
- Manage H&S in engineering, estates, and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with Trade Union Safety Representatives and key stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
- Support regional management in risk management at Posts.
- Engage with health and safety specialists in construction contractors.

The Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- \n
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience managing H&S in multi-site, multi-discipline environments.
- Working towards a Diploma in OSH (or equivalent).
- Strategic and forward thinking.
- Strong collaboration & stakeholder management.
- Delivering a high-quality service with a proactive mindset.

- Diploma in OSH (or equivalent).
- Graduate or Chartered IOSH Membership.
- Experience with ISO45001, global operations, and team leadership.
