About the Opportunity Parker Huggett has partnered with an established General Contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality ICI construction projects across Ontario. This GC is part of a larger group of companies encompassing civil works, condo development and asset management. Projects include transit, LTC and retirement homes, hospitals, recreation centers and government administrative buildings. Project values range from $10M-$100M. In the past 30 years, our client has successfully delivered 200+ projects in these spaces. With a new opportunity opening up in the HSE department, Parker Huggett is searching for an established and experienced Health & Safety Manager About You The successful candidate will have the following: Passionate about health and safety in the ICI construction sector Strong leadership ability and able to ensure HSE policy is adhered to while understanding project needs Attention to detail, accurate report writing, and excellent time management skills Able to commute across the GTA to oversee ongoing projects NCSO, Gold Seal and/or CRSP designations preferred Deep understanding of HSE policy requirements for Ontario COR experience an asset About the Job The Health & Safety Manager supports the implementation of all Health & Safety Programs within the company. This position is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all team members. This position will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to all projects with respect to the development and implementation of health & safety strategies, standards, policies and legislative requirements. Reporting to the President of the firm, the Manager will lead the safety team to a Best-in-Class standard. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, car allowance, holiday and flex days, RRSP matching, discretionary bonus and a comprehensive health benefits program.
