Description Health & Safety Project Engineer Flemish Region, Belgium Permanent 70-82k A leading company in Belgium's infrastructure sector is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Project Engineer to join their HQ. This role is crucial in ensuring that all construction and maintenance projects, including roads, highways, airports, and urban developments, comply with environmental regulations and sustainability goals. They're looking for a Health & Safety Project Engineer to join project teams from the get-go, working directly with engineers to advise them on H&S measures before they go onsite. You will create tangible safety plans with engineers, ensuring preemptively that their projects are safe to start. The Health & Safety Project Engineer will be responsible for: - Identify and analyse any expected safety risks and incorporates them into a tangible safety plan. - Collaborate with the prevention advisor where necessary in drawing up guidelines, standard procedures and the like. - Assist the prevention advisor where necessary in presenting and implementing guidelines, standard procedures and the like.
