Job Summary- Responsibilities
-
Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) and repair processes to include but not limited to, Diesel and gas engines, air & hydraulic braking systems, suspensions systems, drive train assemblies, automatic transmissions, differentials, hydraulic lift systems, electrical systems and body assemblies

Troubleshooting to the highest level

Repairs on a variety of Semi Tractors, Tailers and Equipment, Cummins, Macks and Detroit Diesels

Ensure accurate diagnosis based on customer statements and determine appropriate repairs needed

Knowledge of tools and equipment beings used

Ensure timely and effective repairs of any problems found during inspection

Prepare and complete required paperwork
Qualifications

State Certifications

Maintain an organized and safe work environment

Strong communication skills

Pays Great attention to detail and accuracy
-
Strong working knowledge with complex heavy truck diagnostics and repairs including engines, transmission, electrical, steering and suspensions
-
ASE Certification & CDL Endorsement a plus
-
High School Diploma or equivalent (Trade school as well)

Valid driver's license
-
3 years' experience servicing and maintaining diesel engines

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium to heavy duty vehicles
-
Must have a complete set of hand tools and be proficient in all areas of truck repair

Must be detailed oriented and able to work in a team environment
-
Ability to work intelligently with comment sense & keep work environment clean
