Heavy Equipment Mechanic extraordinaire Needed in Pittston, PA. With over three decades of shaping the landscape of northeast Pennsylvania, our renowned construction outfit is searching for a talented and dynamic Heavy Equipment Technician to join our rock-solid team. Enjoy lucrative overtime, with 50 hour weeks and OT being paid at time and a half after 40 hours. Embrace the dual role of being a shop wizard and a field service mechanic, ensuring the smooth operation of a fleet of CAT, Volvo, and John Deere yellow iron equipment.





Compensation:





$30.00 - $36.00/hour to start.

Shift:





Days, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday).





Steady OT, 50 hours weekly, with time and a half paid after 40 hours worked per week.





Optional weekends. 





Key duties:





Repairing and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, rollers, loaders, rock drills, dump trucks, off-road trucks, and low boy tractors.





Inspection, diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing computer-controlled, aftertreatment/emission systems, as well as traditional hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems.
