We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, drivetrain systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues on our entire fleet. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of heavy equipment and trucks, be able to read and interpret technical manuals, and have experience with some welding and fabrication. We require you to have a CDL drivers license as you will be assigned to a mechanics truck. Must have knowledge in computers. You will be using computer diagnostic systems, ipads for work orders and smart phones for communication This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair/replace diesel engines, drivetrain systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems and some body / metal work for our entire fleet of heavy equipment and trucks
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment machines.
- Document all work performed on heavy equipment and trucks.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rock Hill, SC 29732: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:
- High school or equivalent ()
Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 2 years ()
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years ()

License/Certification:
- Diesel Mechanic Certification is a plus
- Class B CDL (Manual Transmission) - Required for the job
