We are urgently looking for experienced shop & field Heavy Equipment Mechanics in the Sudbury area to join an award-winning heavy equipment repair organization that has been in business for over 70 years.WHY HEAVY-DUTY TECHNICIANS WANT TO WORK HEREContinuous Industry Growth & LeadershipOngoing Paid Factory TrainingStrong Compensation Package & Matching PensionService Truck to Take Home (field service roles)Supportive Environment & Management TeamCareer Growth OpportunitiesHeavy Duty Technicians will work out of a well-equipped service truck and in a clean and organized shop to diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on a variety of construction, forestry, and mining equipment.JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSAt least 3 years heavy equipment repair experience (i.e. dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, rock truck, graders, etc.)Strong diagnostic skillsA Heavy Equipment Mechanic License OR Registered 5th Year Apprentice, preferred but not requiredOwn toolsValid G drivers license and clean driving recordAll hired HD Mechanics must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and Driving)Shifts: Days, Monday Friday. Plenty of OT available.
