Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter - Metal Recycling Company\n\nSalary Up to £45,000\n\nVehicle, Fuel Card, Door to Door Pay\n\nAlecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Heavy Plant Fitter based in and around the Berkshire area\n\nOur client is a reputable Metal Recycling Company that supplies heavy plant machinery is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join their team. As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy plant machinery, including Balers, Shears and other specialized equipment.\n\nOn Offer:\n\nUp to £45,000 Basic Salary for a 45 hour week\nVehicle and Fuel Card\nHigh amount of overtime offered\nOngoing bonuses and benefits\nHome-based engineer with door to door pay\nPaid time off and holidays\nManufacturer training and development opportunitiesRequirements:\n\nExperience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and dump trucks.\nKnowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.\nNVQ level 3 in Heavy Plant Maintenance or equivalent.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nA commitment to workplace health and safety.\nA valid driver's license.\nExperience working on machinery from a range of manufacturers, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, JCB, and Liebherr, among others.\nExperience working on a variety of Balers, shears and other heavy plant vehicles, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment, is preferredResponsibilities\n\nBe able to complete repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance procedures according to customer needs and standard maintenance schedules.\nDisassemble malfunctioning equipment when necessary to locate broken parts, and complete\nrepairs using specialized tools\nExtensive experience in fault diagnosis on hydraulic systems and electrical circuits.\nUtilizing your in-depth knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to perform diagnostics and provide effective solutions.\nCarrying out repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.\nPerforming thorough fault finding and inspections to identify potential issues and recommending preventative maintenance measures.\nCollaborating with the team to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols.\nDelivering exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and building positive client relationships.If you meet the above requirements and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, please submit your application today.
