Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on power systems, substations, switchgear, relays, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Diagnose issues, recommend repairs, and provide detailed technical reports.
- Conduct protective relay testing, circuit analysis, and high-voltage equipment maintenance.
- Work on ground grid design, control systems, and protection schemes in compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams, and engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Oversee project execution, maintain safety compliance, and manage documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- AAS in Electrical/Electronics Technology, BSEE, BSEET, or equivalent high-voltage industry experience.
- 4+ years of experience in high-voltage electrical testing, substation maintenance, or power systems.
- Knowledge of PowerDB software (a plus).
- Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
- Strong background in AC/DC fundamentals, power distribution, and control systems.
- Experience with electrical codes, substation design, and relay protection.
- Strong mathematical skills (algebra, trigonometry) for calculations and analysis.
- Valid driver’s license required.
