Highways & Roadways Engineer Project Manager

Partner Staffing  is currently working with our client seeking experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation infrastructure projects and a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.   Requirements Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team. Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of project delivery. Conduct regular project reviews and audits. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transportation project management. Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
