Hiring For Proposal Engineer with a leading Instrumentation Company

Roles and Responsibilities 1. Understand (including formats, software, statutory requirements etc) &convert the tender scope & specifications into a summary document tofacilitate a bid/no bid discussion.2. Summarize the customer/consultant specifications & create aDeviation/clarification list (in consultation with E+H product specialists/extended partners). Initiate & Participate in technical clarification meetingswith customers/consultants/ construction contractors/ engineeringcontractors for resolving/ clarifying our deviations.3. Perform the role of embedded engineers at customer locations.4. Prepare an optimum scope matrix (covering supply, warrantee & service).5. Create proposal Bill Of Material to match customer specs & accepteddeviations/ clarifications in ERP environment (SAP).6. Identify the global team with acceptance from the functional leaders forexecution of the project (when we win the contract), covering manufacturing,Project management/ Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, service &logistics functions.7. Identify “gaps” (capacity/ skills/ products/ extended partners) beforesubmission of offer8. Compile the formal Technical document to suit the tender requirements(compliance report/ product catalogues/Preliminary drawings, Bar-chart/Gan-chart, ITP, QAP etc.).9. Proactive in managing “bid submission dates” with customer with supportfrom local sales team member.. Identify options for managing the extended scope for each proposal where bywe add value to our customer & make a winning proposition.. Develop winning proposal bids regarding scope, schedule, performance andterms and conditions.. Support Sales team (local to customer location) witho Features & benefits in our proposal.o Alternate options where we can add value to customer.. Apart from above, any assignments given by the team leader.
