Hospital Environmental Services Aide

Summary


We are seeking a Hospital Environmental Services Aide to join our exceptional health care system. The role involves cleaning designated facilities using proper procedures and equipment as assigned by Environmental Service management. The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience or the ability to learn, along with the necessary physical ability to perform the tasks. Position Requirements


Formal Education / Training: High school diploma or equivalent work experience.


Workplace Experience: Cleaning experience or any successful work experience that has shown the candidate has the ability to learn.


Equipment and Skills Training: Experience operating any cleaning tools or the ability to learn to operate tools as needed.


Physical Environment: All assigned areas of the hospital.


Physical Effort: Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, walking, and carrying objects weighing up to 45 pounds. Ability to see, balance, stoop, crouch, reach, feel, and communicate.


Performance Standards


Knows and can demonstrate cleaning procedures.


Annual average Press Ganey courtesy score at evaluation time.


Annual HCAHPS 'Room always clean' score at evaluation time.


Annual employee attendance record (since last evaluation).


Annual employee tardiness record (since last evaluation).


Annual average turnaround times for room cleaning.
