Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. $15.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans
• Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria
• Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments
• Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
• Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
• Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
