Hotel Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Man with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including repairing machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and other installations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and management in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that any malfunctioning equipment or broken fixtures are repaired or replaced promptly.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, and request additional supplies as needed.
- Adhere to safety procedures and ensure the safety of self and others.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers when specialized work is required.
- Keep logs of maintenance work and report any daily activities.
- Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a maintenance role.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks which may require bending, lifting, and climbing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
