Hotel Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Man with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including repairing machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and other installations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.
  2. Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry.
  3. Respond to maintenance requests from staff and management in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Ensure that any malfunctioning equipment or broken fixtures are repaired or replaced promptly.
  5. Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, and request additional supplies as needed.
  6. Adhere to safety procedures and ensure the safety of self and others.
  7. Coordinate with third-party service providers when specialized work is required.
  8. Keep logs of maintenance work and report any daily activities.
  9. Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks which may require bending, lifting, and climbing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
