My client is a rapidly growing manufacturing site who have experienced unparalleled growth in the last 24 months. Due to this growth they are on the lookout for an experience HSEE (Health safety and Environmental) Advisor to join their team.



The HSEE Advisor is responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as with internal company procedures and best practices. You will have 1 direct report. The role will also offer a huge amount of autonomy to implement your HSE philosophies / culture!



Typical responsibilities include –



* To develop and lead in promoting, educating and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental across the company



* Ensure the site adheres to the outlined HSE policy and external requirements



* Ensure that all Risk Assessments are completed and reviewed as per current legislation and maintain appropriate records



* Coordination of fire and evacuation programme



* Assist managers in completing all risk assessments and special assessments



* Conduct and carry out internal compliance audits, reporting and developing a plan to address any issues arising



* Co-ordinate and manage first aid and fire safety representatives for all sites, including training and auditing



* Ensure that all facilities management activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations



The ideal candidate will be an experienced HSE Officer / HSE Advisor / HSE Manager with a proven background within a manufacturing site. NEBOSH is a minimum. An understanding of the requirements of ISO 14001 and 9001 and experience in developing policies is highly beneficial
