A global Renewable Energy corporation is seeking HSE Advisors, for onshore/offshore wind energy projects. Working closely with site management and the safety team, you will ensure that safety practices are effectively implemented, and risks are minimized across the project sites.

The Role:

• Monitor the implementation and adherence to the project Onshore/Offshore Environmental Health and Safety Plan and related procedures, by performing regular site inspections and site visits of the construction project works and areas; and contribute to internal and external audits and assessments, and EHS/site evaluations
• Support set up and maintaining of air monitoring station, radio charging station and assist with repeater installation if required.
• Support set up and maintaining of any site specific or turbine model/platform issues for specific for daily use by technicians (confined space, QSE alerts) Coordinate with CM and Lead for updates.
• Set up Z-drive project access folder for site. Support and audit uploads of all required site documentation. Not limited to ERP, Emergency response checklist, JSA, Completed paperwork & slide deck, Pre-work ice checklists, Hot work permits, Confined space documents, Daily sign in sheets, Up-tower rescue kits, SDS, QSE site handover checklist and Assured grounding logs.
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of Safety Performance, the development / appraisal and modification of Safe Systems of Work, and participate in sub-contractor evaluations, monitoring and assessing.

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety roles within offshore oil and gas and/or onshore/offshore wind projects.
• Experience with wind energy operations, including understanding specific safety protocols and regulations.
• Proficiency in safety management systems and incident reporting tools, including root cause analysis (RCA).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• GWO Certification Highly
