HSE Engineer - Mid

ALTEN MÉXICO is currently looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to join our team. As a subsidiary of ALTEN Group, a global leader in engineering and technology consulting, we provide specialized solutions for a wide range of industries. The HSE Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safety procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, and providing training to employees on HSE matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE principles, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Develop and implement safety procedures and policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Provide training to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety inspections. Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Stay up to date with changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing safety procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
