HSE Manager

We are looking for an experienced HSE professional to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on a major construction project. The role involves ensuring the implementation of HSE policies, coordinating with various stakeholders, and leading a dedicated safety team on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures across the site team.

• Conduct internal safety communications, training, and maintain records.

• Supervise and mentor assigned HSE personnel.

• Perform risk assessments and implement preventive safety measures.

• Monitor and report key HSE performance indicators to relevant stakeholders.

• Support the management of occupational health and safety matters in the designated project area.

• Oversee contractor compliance with HSE standards and conduct regular audits.

• Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

• Prepare and review essential HSE documentation, including reports and presentations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Advanced degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related field, with relevant HSE certifications.

• Minimum 20 years of experience in HSE within construction or equipment assembly.

• At least 5 years of experience in hydropower projects.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
