HSE-Manager for Waste Management / Hazardous Materials (f/m/d)\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Provide expert advice on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) matters, including conducting audits and compliance monitoring.\n * Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.\n * Take operative responsibility for local waste management, optimizing processes to meet regulatory and normative compliance.\n * Oversee the classification, sorting, packaging, and declaration of waste, including hazardous materials.\n * Develop and implement new concepts for waste sorting, cost allocation, and recycling, aligned with circular economy principles and drive innovation in recycling and resource efficiency.\n * Engage in regulatory implementation, including lobbying efforts for new environmental regulations within the HARTMANN GROUP.\n * Maintain and analyze waste management KPIs and costs, ensuring transparency and reporting both locally and internationally.\n * Monitor life-cycle impacts and implement measures to improve sustainability.\n * Manage relationships with waste management service providers, including contract negotiation, qualification, supervision and auditing.\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n * A degree or vocational training in a related field, with work experience in HSE or waste management.\n * Experience in managing environmental compliance, audits, and management systems.\n * Additional qualifications such as Waste Management Officer, Hazardous Goods Officer, Immission Control Officer, Environmental/Quality Management Auditor or Occupational Safety Expert are a plus.\n * Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, process design, KPI management, and relevant software (e.g., SAP, MS Office).\n * Proven ability to identify and implement efficiency improvements in waste management and circular economy practices.\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\n * Fluency in English and German.\n\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Flexible working conditions, such as flexible working hours and mobile working\n * Attractive ways of combining work and family life, e.g. childcare subsidy\n * 30 days paid leave per year, plus special leave for exceptional life events as well as vacation pay and special annual payment according to collective agreement\n * Company pension plan with attractive employer contribution incl. matching model for deferred compensation\n * Plenty of parking spaces, canteen with café bar and ongoing offers in the employee shop\n * Access to over 6000 fitness and yoga studios, swimming pools as well as Crossfit and bouldering halls (EGYM Wellpass)\n * Various health and fitness offers, e.g.
