HSE Managers

For one of key clients we are looking for several HSE Managers for annually renewable contracts based in Casablanca Morocco. 

Must be able to speak english and bonus if you speak Arabic too. 

HSE Manager Job Description

The HSE Manager will develop and implement the strategic HSE plan for projects or business units under their responsibility. As HSE functional staff, the HSE Manager supports day-to-day field activities within a project, multiple projects, or a business line, helping to foster a strong HSE culture by developing effective partnerships, communicating, facilitating, and aligning HSE improvements directly and/or through others.

Main Scope/Responsibilities:

• Develop specific HSE procedures, tools, and processes in line with the organization's HSE program.
• Conduct regular site HSE audits, reviews, and inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable HSE plans and procedures.
• Provide ongoing communication to management concerning the implementation and effectiveness of the HSE program, including proactive and/or corrective action recommendations.
• Support bid proposals and review contractor deliverables.
• Ensure plans exist for emergency preparedness and test these plans for adequacy.
• Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of HSE supervisors and inspectors.

Education:

• Relevant degree in HSE, engineering, or an advanced technical degree, or equivalent.
• Curricula: IRCA, NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent.

Global Experience:

• 8+ years of experience.

Specific Experience in the Position:

• 3+ years of managing supervisors.
• Industrial and construction experience required.
