HSE OFFICER

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Officer to support the safe and compliant operation of a hyperscale data centre. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety across all site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

HSE Compliance and Monitoring:

Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies.

Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.

Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.

Incident Management:

Investigate accidents and incidents and provide corrective action plans.

Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and safety observations.

Develop emergency response procedures.

Training and Awareness:

Deliver HSE training sessions and toolbox talks.

Promote safety awareness and best practices among staff and contractors.

Support the development of safety documentation and guidelines.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare HSE reports and maintain compliance records.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within a data centre or construction environment.

NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Familiarity with ISO 45001 and environmental management systems.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
