Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to members of the HR team. In addition, the HR Administrative Assistant will assist with recruiting efforts, maintain a file retention system for all HR-related files and documents, and act as the primary backup for the Receptionist. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain HR files, both hard copy and electronic, including employee files. Providing information for unemployment cases. Oversee tuition reimbursement program. Provide customer service to all employees seeking HR support. Generates and manage data for all routine HRIS reports. Oversee employee referral program. Administrator of the Process Technician training. Responsible for coordination for all extracurricular functions (i.e. turkeys, Christmas letters, United Way Campaign, flu clinic, holiday programs) Manages campaign return letters. Completing all verifications of employment. Invoice administration for HR department. All other duties as assigned. Additional Duties: Primary back-up coverage for Receptionist role Position Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent HR work experience Experience with an HRIS system, ADP preferred Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong computer skills Able to hold information strictly confidential Key Competencies: Strong focus on continuous improvement and automation A focus on details and accuracy Demonstrated personal leadership and positive can-do attitude Flexible and able to work in fast paced and varying environments Ability to work well with others in a team environment Demonstrate ethics, integrity, drive and purpose.
