HR Assistant

Location: Central London

Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day at home)

Up to £26,500

LHH Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a well-known fashion retailer based in Central London, who are currently on the lookout for a HR Assistant to join their business on a permanent basis. Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be expected to be the first point of contact for all HR queries & provide a responsive and relevant HR support to all employees across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be the first point of contact for all HR queries and co-ordinate appropriate responses in a timely manner.
  • Manage shared services inbox and providing advice on low risk ER cases and the production of appropriate correspondence
  • Responsible for managing accurate end-to-end administration of the whole employee lifecycle; preparation and issuing of contractual paperwork
  • Updating the HR system and payroll according to the agreed timescales & assisting with payroll related queries
  • Manage the administrative, security and start up process associated with recruitment, selection and onboarding including contracts, new starters information packs and right to work checks.
  • Lead on immigration, visa management and international transfer processes where applicable.
  • Manage all aspects of day-today benefits administration

Position Criteria

  • 2+ years' experience in an administrative HR role within a progressive environment
  • Obtained, or working towards, a recognised HR qualification (CIPD)
  • Payroll related experience and highly numerate
  • Proactive and results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, Oracle HR/SAP
  • HR Database management specifically experience of updating changes and running reports
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
