Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Location: Bristol, Fully Remote

My client is a leading Maritime company who due to growth is now seeking a skilled and experience HR Business Partner.

As the HR Business Partner you will be the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing support and solving problems. The aim of the role is to provide general HR support across the employee lifecycle: recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee engagement, performance management and employee relations, communications and administration.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures enabling our company to attract, develop and retain high-performing employees in the Marine Systems industry.
  • Conduct full lifecycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary skills and qualifications.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior management, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Address employee concerns and provide advice and coaching to managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of HR systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility.
  • Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee engagement, to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted initiatives.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by promoting a diverse and culturally competent work environment.

The ideal candidate will come with the following experience:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • At least 3 years working at HR Business Partner level with potential to work at a more senior level
  • Up to date with employment legislation
  • Ability to carry out investigations in all ER matters, including grievances, disciplinaries and redundancies
  • Confident in advising managers on all aspects of people management and development
  • Numerate and financially aware with the ability to produce reports and statistics as required combined with excellent presentation skills both formally and informally
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people within and outside the organisation
  • Strong communication skills with a high standard of verbal and written English

They have an office in Bristol but can offer fully remote working if the individual would prefer! This comes along with a starting salary of £37,000 - £40,000, depending on background & experience.
