Human Resources (HR) Manager
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our client based in Guelph, ON. As an HR Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing recruitment strategies, ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires, and implementing retention strategies. You'll also act as the main contact for employee concerns, manage compliance with labor laws, and oversee payroll processes and employee benefits programs. Furthermore, your role will include designing and implementing training programs, managing performance evaluation systems, and collaborating with senior management on HR strategies.Responsibilities:• Craft and execute recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of individuals, including technicians, drivers, sales individuals, and administrative staff.• Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration of new hires into the company culture.• Develop and implement strategies aimed at employee retention and reducing turnover.• Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns, effectively resolving issues in a detail oriented and timely manner.• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, facilitating communication between management and employees.• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international labor laws and industry regulations.• Manage employee records, benefits administration, and coordinate payroll.• Stay abreast of regulations, including industry-specific policies.• Collaborate with finance teams to manage payroll processes.• Evaluate and administer employee benefits programs, maintaining competitiveness within the industry.• Design and implement training programs to enhance technical skills, safety compliance, and leadership capabilities.• Oversee certification and licensing processes for employees, in line with industry standards.• Support initiatives aimed at career development, preparing employees for internal promotions.• Develop and oversee performance evaluation systems, setting clear goals and expectations for all roles.• Address performance issues and implement improvement plans in collaboration with department heads.• Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is essential• Must be experienced in using ADP Workforce Now• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required• Familiarity with Ceridian is a plus• Demonstrable experience in HCM is needed• Must have a deep understanding of Benefit Functions• Excellent Communication skills are necessary• Must be well-versed in Compliance matters• Strong Employee Relations skills are a must• Experience in Hiring Processes is crucialRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
