HR Systems Analyst (ITrent)

£46,000 - £50,000 per annum
Currently supporting a prestigious Higher Education to appoint a talented and experienced HR Systems Analyst to join our team and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR processes through the management and optimisation of ITrent, our HR information system.
Job Summary:
The HR Systems Analyst (iTrent) is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the iTrent HR system within the higher education setting. This role involves collaborating with HR professionals, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless functioning of iTrent and the delivery of accurate and timely HR data and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR systems, particularly iTrent, and possess a deep understanding of HR processes within the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
iTrent Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the iTrent HR system, including user access, security, and system configuration.
- Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing and validating HR information stored in iTrent.
System Enhancements and Upgrades:
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
- Recommend and implement improvements to iTrent to optimise HR processes and user experience.
Data Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyse HR reports using iTrent to support decision-making processes within the HR department.
- Develop and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reports to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
User Training and Support:
- Provide training to HR staff and other end-users on iTrent functionalities.
- Act as a point of contact for iTrent-related queries and issues, offering timely support and solutions.
Compliance and Data Privacy:
- Ensure HR data management practices comply with relevant data protection laws and university policies.
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to address data privacy concerns and incidents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Systems Analyst with a focus on iTrent.
- Strong understanding of HR processes in the higher education sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
