Human Resources Officer - Arabian Select LTAC and Rehabilitation Hospital

Key responsibilities of the role Managerial/Administration: Actively participate and represent the Human Resources Department in various committees. Work with the Human Resources Director to develop the Human Resource service standards and ensure they are consistently met. Acting as a role model, they will deliver high operational performance standards by developing and supporting the Human Resource team. Collaborates with all levels of interdisciplinary teams, executive officers and other stakeholders in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services. Technical: Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures and to advise on industrial relations/performance management matters. Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation. Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety. Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management. Preparing staff handbooks. Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits. Undertaking regular salary reviews. Negotiating with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions. Administering payroll and maintaining employee records. Interpreting and advising on employment law. Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures. Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements. Planning and sometimes delivering training - including inductions for new staff. Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers. Quality & Safety: Evaluates factors related to safety, outcomes, effectiveness, cost, and social impact when developing and implementing practice innovations. Participates on various committees, related to HR and organisational operation as required. Participates in projects, equipment, staff and policy decisions that affect staff care. Education: Resolve conflicts, handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts in relation to recruitment processes/strategies. Manages the performance of self and others within the facility by setting developmental action plans/goals. Continues personal professional development through training and continuing education. Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field. In-depth knowledge of Saudi labor law and HR best practices. Internationally accredited Human Resource certification is advantageous. Competent computer skills. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. 2 years of professional Human Resources experience. International accreditation experience. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
