HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (INFORMATION SYSTEMS) Pyong Taek, South Korea Ausschreibungsbereich All current USFK KN employees Hauptaufgaben Serves HR Specialist with responsibility for serving as a Personnel System Manager (PSM) for the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and Installation Support Module (ISM) programsfor civilian personnel as well as serving as Staff advisor/action officer in one or more of the areas in Position Management, Classification, Compensation, Staffing or Employee Services. Provides staff advisory services, assistance, maintenance, analysis, and evaluation of the USFK-wide civilian personnel programs and automated civilian personnel management systems. Applies an in-depth knowledge of HR concepts, principles, laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practices. Work requires extensive knowledge and experience in civilian personnel (US and/or KN) human resources; proficiency in using civilian HR systems; skills in analyzing HR data and preparing comprehensive reports; In-depth knowledge of civilian HR (US and KN) policies, procedures and regulations. Establishes, develops, and maintains the overall command-wide functional requirements, criteria, and instructions for automated personnel systems. Monitors system integrity such as accuracy andreliability of data against quality criteria, and analyzes quality control inquiries, rejects, errors, data reconciliation, and transaction registers to determine trends and initiates corrective actions. Provides staff assistance to operating HR offices in interpreting and clarifying command policies, objectives, andprocedural requirements in assigned program areas. Evaluates facts to complete assignments thatmay require developing, modifying, and adapting methods and techniques to/for specified situations. Assists in developing local procedures to meet 8A goals and objectives and to complywith regulatory guidance. Prepares data and reports required for analysis and evaluation of Eighth Army and USFK civilian personnel management programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
