Ray & Son Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an HVAC Commercial Field Supervisor to join our team in Valdosta, GA.

Overview: To direct & participate in the installation operations for the Company (In Commercial Installation) through building and developing installation organization, processes, and procedures to support the strategic direction and establishing installation initiatives for improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery, timeliness, throughput, and customer relations.
Position: HVAC Commercial Field Supervisor
Pay: $65,000 to 75,000 per year

Duties & Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the Operations Manager, develop the goals and objectives for implementation of the Ray & Son installation standards. Implement those plans.
- Completes independent estimates upon project turnover to familiarize him/herself with the project and to identify any negative discrepancies or positive opportunities in the project budget.
- Coordinates with other trades before doing layout for Ray & Son employees.
- Makes recommendations on ways to minimize and improve any negative discrepancies and optimize any positive opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Maintain Daily Log of job progress, deficiencies, discrepancies, required changes, etc.
- Develops cost-effective plans and schedules for the completion of projects following a logical pattern for the utilization of resources.
- Pre-plans and coordinates with the Project Manager regarding material and equipment acquisition
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 successful job experiences as a foreman
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mechanical systems and their operation.
- Project management experience and a good knowledge of the construction industry.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) also conversions
- Ability to read and interpret Plans, schematics, diagrams, etc.
- Strong desire to succeed and excellent problem-solving skills.
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
