In this role, you will design, install, maintain, and optimize HVAC control systems to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. Key Responsibilities Design & Development : Create and implement HVAC control strategies for optimal performance and energy efficiency. Programming : Develop, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, BMS, and other control systems. System Integration : Integrate HVAC controls with existing automation systems to enhance monitoring and management capabilities. Testing & Commissioning : Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure proper installation and functionality. Maintenance : Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of control systems to minimize downtime. Documentation : Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system designs, wiring diagrams, and operational manuals. Collaboration : Work closely with the engineering team, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives. Compliance : Ensure systems adhere to relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. Qualifications & Skills Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in HVAC controls engineering within the manufacturing or building services sector. Proficiency in programming PLCs, DDCs, and Building Management Systems (e.g., Tridium, Honeywell, Siemens). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, VAVs, AHUs, and energy management. Familiarity with control schematics and wiring diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Desirable: Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and sustainability standards. Certification in HVAC systems or controls (e.g., CIBSE, ASHRAE). Experience with SCADA systems or IoT technologies.
