Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial New Build HVAC Duct Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC duct systems and be proficient in the installation and fabrication of ductwork in large-scale commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install and fabricate HVAC duct systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape ductwork using hand and power tools.  
• Install and connect duct fittings, dampers, and other components.  
• Ensure ductwork is properly sealed and insulated.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure system integrity.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate installations.  
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Duct Mechanic in commercial new build construction.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.  
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
