HVAC ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The purpose of an HVAC Engineer's job is to ensure that HVAC systems provide a comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient indoor environment, contributing to the overall success of building projects and the well-being of occupants. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems on-site. Ensure all HVAC works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution. Identify and resolve any on-site issues related to HVAC installations. Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documentation, and records. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met. Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and junior engineers. Review and approve HVAC system designs and modifications as needed. Ensure proper installation and functionality of piping and ducting systems. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC engineering. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8-12 years of work experience as a HVAC Engineer Project experience in high rise buildings in the GCC region preferably from contracting companies. Experience working on Water Cooled Chiller Plant is a must. Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards. Good knowledge of piping and ducting. Proficiency in HVAC design and project management software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. VERTICAL: ENGINEERING
