HVAC Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport)





Shift: 2nd 1:00pm-9:30pm





Pay: $35.00-$43.00/Hr.





Job Summary





We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer with a valid California C-20 license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings.





Responsibilities:





Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units





Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using appropriate tools and equipment





Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency





Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals





Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants





Provide clear explanations and recommendations to clients regarding HVAC system operations and maintenance





Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job





Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements and best practices





Respond to emergency calls as needed, including evenings and weekends





Requirements:





Valid California C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license





Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician





Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance techniques





Familiarity with local and state building codes and regulations





Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills





Strong communication and customer service abilities





Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces





Valid driver's license and clean driving record





EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal )





Qualifications:





NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification





Experience with energy management systems and smart HVAC technologies





Knowledge of green building practices and energy-efficient HVAC solutions
