HVAC Estimator

Our company is looking for a HVAC Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors;
• Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and e-commerce software tools;
• Create quotes and respond to inbound queries and requests;
• Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products;
• Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests;
• Understand scope of HVAC work to bid;
• Communicate with the engineering department on new and current projects;
• Prepare job take offs.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of commercial HVAC / Mechanical Contracting;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to negotiate effectively;
• Knowledge of bidding software;
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments;
• Ability to develop budgets and time lines;
• Multi-tasker and Organized;
• Great customer service and a team attitude;
• Attention to detail an asset;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC estimating;
• Works well on own or in a team environment;
• Self-starter with strong work ethic;
• Knowledgeable in building and construction.
